With spring in full bloom, our construction project is advancing steadily, having cleared most rough-in inspections. The second floor is outpacing the first, with significant progress in painting, carpentry and final exterior details, bringing the project’s vision into sharper focus.
On the second floor, painting is progressing, with final coats applied in some areas, showcasing the vibrant color palette. Carpentry teams are wrapping up trim, doors and cabinetry, adding polished details that bring the space to life. The first floor, which is much more complex, is making strong headway with drywall finishing, bulkhead framing and carpentry work, now in progress. Drywall finishing is fully complete in some areas, setting the stage for these interior advancements.
Externally, the building envelope is fully enclosed with all windows installed. The installation of the bright metal panels with their unique curved elements is moving along well. One of the building’s most unique features are the kinetic “leaf” panels that move in the breeze, mimicking the movement of a tree. These panels will give the building its whimsical character as planned.
Site work is progressing nicely, with concrete sidewalks and building approaches being poured. Landscaping efforts have kicked off, with grass planting underway in select areas of the site and pocket parks beginning to take shape. Initial seeding and additional planting will continue over the coming weeks to create welcoming outdoor spaces.
Coordination among trade partners remains seamless, keeping us on schedule to focus solely on interior details by summer’s end. Our commitment to quality and safety continues to guide every step. Check back for another update in a few months as we approach project completion!
